Decorative Waterproof Deck – Camas, WA

The existing deck had dry rot where the house connected to the framing which caused a threat to the deck structure. The deck also had an aged look with wood slats that was not waterproofed for the extreme weather and rain that is common in this area.  Drips down through the slats also made the patio below unusable during wet weather.

The original deck had to be completely torn down in order to take out all the dry rot that was hidden underneath the deck and against the house. The rebuilt deck had new posts, beams, footers and plywood so Rock Solid could guarantee the structure and life of the deck. We installed a Westcoat ALX Custom Tile Finish waterproofing system which gave an entirely new look to their decorative waterproof deck.  Adding a spiral staircase and new railing created the finishing touch.
