We removed the tile and then used a diamond grinder to remove the mortar to expose the underlying concrete. All the cracks were sealed and new drains were installed. A fabric-embedded acrylic elastomeric waterproofing system was applied to seal the deck. Ceramic tile was then installed over the waterproofing layer to create a finish that was compatible with the historic nature of the home.
