Wet & Leaky Basement Waterproofing

Manor Grange Basement

The Problem

Due to a very high water table in the Battle Ground area, Manor Grange had water intrusion underneath the basement floor any time there was heavy rain. Since the furniture had to be removed and the carpet lifted up each time, they lost rental revenue on a regular basis every winter. The existing sump pump wasn’t sufficient to handle the amount of water that infiltrated the cold joint and floor cracks.

The Outcome

We installed a primary sub-slab drain line with a drainage mat protection barrier around the perimeter which connected to the sump pump in another room. The sump pump then moved the water to the main downspout pipes that ran outside and away from the building. This eliminated the water intrusion in the basement for good.
