Red Lion Hotel Decorative Concrete Patio Waterproofing
Deck & Patio Waterproofing
The Problem
The asphaltic membrane underneath the red tiles had failed, allowing water to leak through the cracks in the underlying concrete slab. The water ruined carpeting, drywall, and ceiling tiles in the rooms underneath the terrace.

The Outcome
We removed the existing tile, underlying mortar, asphaltic membrane, and a skim coat layer of concrete. The concrete slab was then scarified and cleaned for maximum adhesion. The deck was then re-sloped with new concrete so all the water would flow correctly to the drains. A Westcoat MACoat waterproofing system was applied to the surface with a simulated flagstone finish.
