The second-level parking deck was a 12″ concrete slab with a 4″ asphalt overlay and was leaking badly into the grocery section of the store. After several years of attempted patches, they made the decision to install a new waterproof coating system to solve the problem.

We removed the asphalt overlay (2.2 million pounds), then shot blasted and diamond ground the concrete surface. Thousands of linear feet of cracks in the concrete were sealed to complete the surface preparation. We then installed a three-layer urethane traffic coating system.
Not only was the extensive project done right and within budget, their consideration for our store and its associates was second to none. Whatever it took to do the job right, Rock Solid did it.
