This customer had two decks that were outdated, unsightly, and causing water damage to their home. Along with resolving the water issues, the homeowner wanted to update the appearance of their outside living space.

Our solution consisted of removing the existing deck, setting new shims to improve the slope, and installing new plywood. The waterproofing portion was finished with Westcoat ALX, including flashing, membrane, lath, and three layers of polymer cement. The deck was water tested to ensure proper water drainage. Finally, two layers of Westcoat SC-71 sealer in Mission Red were applied to protect the surface from the elements.
